Nestled in the rolling coastal hills about 2 miles above the town of Rosarito is a haven for the children of Baja Mexico in need of a home. This is Rancho del Nino Nueva Vida, multi-denominational boy’s home situated on 2.5 acres of donated land founded in 1999 by Pastor Oskar and Beatriz Kiser, the directors of the Orphanage. The capacity of the facility at its current size is about 30 children, which is the highest number they have had thus far.
The home functions exclusively from private donations and volunteer work, and a group known as Cha Cha’s Angels, who are local residents who chip in each month to help balance the budget for food, school expenses, utilities, staff salaries, and other basic needs that the orphanage has.
The mission of Rancho Del Nino de Nueva Vida is to fund and guide a positive environment that promotes the growth of underprivileged youths in the Rosarito area, who are in need of a communal family experience. The orphanage hopes aims assist in fostering the potential of these children and effect a constructive social change by doing so. |
